Born and raised in Chandler, AZ, Coach Vincent Calleros embarked on his wrestling journey at Willis Jr. High School in 2005. His passion led him to further his expertise at Chandler High School. After graduation, he discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). In October 2016, when Gracie Barra Chandler opened its doors, he began training under the esteemed Professor Paulo Freire and a roster of distinguished coaches. Within a year, the transformative power of BJJ was so profound for Coach Vincent that he chose to dedicate his life to it, working closely under the mentorship of Professor Freire.

Recognizing the positive impact BJJ had on his life, he felt compelled to share this knowledge with others, including his family. Teaching both children and adults has been a fulfilling journey, fostering growth in both his students and him.

From his early days as a white belt, Professor Vincent had an innate desire to instruct. He initiated with the youngest students, the "little champions," and gradually transitioned to training adults. Upon earning his blue belt, he began leading classes independently, and as he progressed through the ranks to purple and brown belts, he continued to evolve as a teacher and mentor.

Throughout his journey, he's been instrumental in transforming lives and guiding numerous individuals towards their personal goals. Amassing a wealth of knowledge over the years, Professor Vincent credits his accomplishments to the guidance of the professors and the coaches who've mentored him.

He is now driven by a vision to share this wealth of knowledge with the wonderful residents of Maricopa, inspiring and motivating them to realize their potential.
